  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and proactively communicate with a team.
  • Conversant in general legal language and principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes, and court-related matters.
  • Facility with Judicial Council Forms, WORD docs, EXCEL spreadsheets, and PDFs.
  • Paralegal certificate required.

Schedule

-Full-Time, Monday- Friday 
-Opportunity for hybrid remote schedule with mutual agreement after an introductory period.


Our New Paralegal’s Typical Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide case-based support to attorneys, such as:
  1. Work with attorneys, admin team, and clients to ensure exchange of timely information and documents to meet deadlines. 
  2. Draft forms regarding probate practice (e.g. Pre- and Post-Appointment Conservatorship documents).
  3. Assist with the preparation, filing, and service of process.
  4. Conduct various pubic-record document searches and research.
  5. Organize and manage all case-related documents.
  • Assist with client intake and management, such as:
  1. Drafting Legal Service Agreements.
  2. Facility with online document signature procurement.
  3. Solid understanding of electronic file management
  • Support in the ongoing drafting and editing of applicable procedures in our Standard
  1. Operating Procedure Manual/a.k.a. Playbook. 
  • Meet the billable hour expectation of 750 billable hours per year.
